They say that if you really want to get to know someone, you should take a holiday with them.
At EO, our retreats aren't simply vacations that you take with peer members. They are highly curated experiences that enable you to build bonds of trust and camaraderie with fellow members whilst learning life lessons.
Each retreat is planned, keeping certain goals in mind. The goals represent what the Chapter's members' need at the moment and can derive the most value from- the objectives could be integration and bonding, or they could be teaching leadership lessons through an array of meticulously planned activities.
Whether an annual retreat is more experiential or is full of learning, is planned in accordance with the pulse of the EO chapter. That being said, the scales of experience v/s learning are never tipped in one direction; the retreats are always planned in a balanced manner to help members get the most out of it.
At EO Gurgaon, we plan several retreats annually to help you bond and grow together with your peers. For most members, the most exciting event of the year is the annual Chapter retreat! An exotic location is decided for each year, and you and your spouse are whisked away to have the time of your lives. This retreat presents itself as an excellent opportunity for new members and their spouses to get acquainted with their peers in an informal setting, thereby forming new friendships and associations.
Last year, the annual Chapter Retreat was organized at the uber-luxurious Finolhu Resorts in the dreamy island nation of Maldives. Members got a chance to unwind and relax under the Maldivian sky, whilst partaking in fun activities, specially organized for them.
More recently, the spousal Team organized a ‘ladies only’ trip to the city of Nizams, Hyderabad, where they wined and dined in the lap of luxury at the luxurious Falaknuma Palace Hotel. The goal - to unite the EO Gurgaon Spouses over beautiful and everlasting memories, which was easily achieved thanks to the fun-packed and well-planned itinerary set by the Spousal Team.
EO Gurgaon's planning committee runs a tight ship. Events are carefully planned and flawlessly executed by them. For this to happen as seamlessly as they make it seem, each year, the Board goes on a retreat, where the main objective is for them to bond, understand each other's vision for the chapter, and ultimately reach a consensus on how to make EO Gurgaon grow unitedly. This year, the board went on their retreat to the pink city of Jaipur, which turned out to be super fun and enjoyable. And now that we think about it - this year's events calendar stands testimony to the Board's phenomenal chemistry amongst themselves!
