PRESENTING: THE KIDS of EO GURGAON

John F. Kennedy once rightly said, “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.”

A little introspection will lead to the realization that half (or rather most) of what we do, we do for our posterity’s sake. So that our children have a brighter future, we want them prepared to handle tomorrow’s ups and downs and, when the time comes, be ready to take the reins to build a future for their future generations. 

At EO, we understand this imperative need as parents and as community members. We want our children to understand their responsibility towards their community and work towards its constant betterment. We therefore put in consolidated efforts to integrate our children within the EO community and create an environment to nurture their inherent talents from a tender age.

Here are a few of the family events hosted by EO Gurgaon in the past year itself:

1. Feeding Smart Right From Start
   In an exciting and interactive virtual workshop, the EO kids 'reignited' their love for food through some 'flameless' cooking classes. The children received personalized cooking gear and customized ingredients for the workshop, making it a lot more fun and engaging. Through the workshop, the children learnt the importance of eating healthy and nutritious food; they also got to experience their own cooking!

2. Let’s Get Cultured
   On a cool autumn Sunday, the children went on an archaeological adventure to the Qutub Minar, escorted by their dad's! They learned about the remarkable monument's mystifying history and witnessed it like never before. What followed was a serious session of fun games between the kids and their papas. The event ended on a high note with a decadent brunch and fabulous hampers for all the little ones.

3. Meet The CEO
   The enterprising EO members gave the kids a peek into their professional lives and showed them the ropes of their business! The budding Kidpreneurs were taken on a special guided tour of the member-entrepreneurs' Plant and Operations Units. They also experienced what it feels like to be a part of the various activities in a conference room. A few children also went on a guided tour to the City's most favoured shopping destination, Select City Walk Mall's recycling unit. At the unit, they learnt how by using green energy; the Mall is saving tons of electricity expenditure every month and creating a more sustainable world at the same time.

4. Wave of Sustainability
   Understanding the need of the hour, EO kids took on the duty of spreading awareness about the need for sustainability and driving multiple home-based initiatives to aid the noble cause. Some donated their clothes and toys, where others actively decided to recycle their waste, and a few even spread the word through videos messages urging people to join the wave. 5. PVR Movie Event
   For this super-successful event organized jointly by the Family and Integration teams, the exclusive PVR Director's Cut was entirely booked, exclusively for the families of EO Gurgaon! Multiple movies were shown to the kids, each of them being particularly chosen, keeping the different age groups in mind. The children even had the unique opportunity to get photographed with their favourite movie characters whilst indulging in an array of delicious snacks.

Seeing our zestful and bright children, we can be rest assured that the future is in the right hands. Their empathetic take on life inspires us to be more considerate of others and our surroundings. We can positively assert that we are extremely proud of our EO kids and hope to see tremendous things from them and by them in the years ahead!
